Job Summary
Perform bedside x-rays and EKGs on patients, ensuring images are released to licensed providers and burned to CD for delivery. Maintain accurate documentation of all services and uphold professional standards in communication and appearance. Manage company property, including vehicles and equipment, to minimize downtime and damage. Transport heavy x-ray gear (100-185 lbs) 5-10 times per shift, load/unload from vehicles, and maneuver equipment to patient bedsides, including climbing eight steps. Requires ARRT licensure, state x-ray licenses, excellent driving record, and ability to drive 3000-6000 miles monthly. No office reporting required; work vehicle provided.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT, current
- Required X-ray State licensures for all states served, current
- Able to work independently, yet as part of a team
- Flexibility in work hours to meet needs of the clients
- Excellent driving record
- Must be physically able to drive approximately 3000 to 6000 miles per month
- Drug and alcohol free
- Must be physically able to load and unload x-ray equipment (100-185lbs) from the vehicle on average 5-10 times per shift and maneuver equipment to the patient bed-side to perform the exam
- Must be physically able to transport equipment up and down as many as eight (8) steps
- Must be physically able to place X-ray cassettes underneath patients to complete exams, which requires lifting patients and pulling and pushing cassettes under body part being examined
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in portable x-ray preferred
