Job Summary
This role involves operating portable (DR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation, driving to various locations to perform x-ray exams as ordered by physicians, and performing EKGs as needed. Technologists must possess ARRT Certification, state licenses, and a valid driver's license with good standing. Candidates should be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A flexible work attitude and effective communication skills are essential for this patient-facing position, especially with geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain ARRT Certification
- Valid driver’s license in the applicable state
- Maintain Driver’s license in good standing at all times
- Illinois licensure is required for this position
- Newly registered/licensed technologists strongly encouraged to apply
