Job Summary
Independently perform the majority of radiographic exams under the administrative direction of the Director / Operations Supervisor and clinical direction of the Radiologist / Team Leader with minimal supervision. Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required and maintain adequate competency levels across all modalities. Cross-train in other diagnostic imaging modalities based on departmental staffing needs. Complete necessary documentation, including certification renewals, on a yearly basis. Requires up to six months experience to become proficient.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of formal Medical Radiography training in an AMA approved school
- meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Vermont State License to practice Medical Radiography
