Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Perform X-Rays following established safety protocols to produce quality radiographs while minimizing repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, manage supplies and equipment sterilization, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy and laboratory paperwork, handle client and staff telephone calls, collect payments and co-pays, and prepare examination rooms. Perform various clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and filing forms. Work a per diem schedule in the Urgent Care Old Saybrook department, reporting to physicians and managing patient care within the facility.
