Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist in Urgent Care performs imaging procedures for patients, operates imaging equipment, and may assist as a Medical Assistant (room patients, obtain vitals, reconcile medications, interview patients). Ensures proper documentation in the EMR, collaborates with the care team, and adheres to system policies and core values. Requires JRCERT-accredited radiography training, ARRT eligibility, and CT license eligibility in Connecticut; preferred candidates have 3–5 years of RT experience and a bachelor degree or equivalent experience. Strong communication, proficiency in imaging modalities, and computer/office skills are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
- ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
- State of Connecticut License/Eligible
- Good judgment and problem solving skills
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
