Job Summary
Conduct radiologic examinations, take patient histories and vital signs, and prepare patients for procedures while producing quality radiographs and minimizing repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, perform phlebotomy, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Manage telephone communications, collect payments and co-pays, and handle clerical duties including filing and faxing. Work per diem in the Urgent Care Old Saybrook department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated guest relations skills
