Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Conduct radiologic examinations following established procedures for patient care and safety while performing duties related to daily patient management. Take patient histories and vital signs, prepare patients for procedures, and take X-Rays to produce quality radiographs with minimized repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, maintain supplies and equipment including sterilization, and assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals. Perform phlebotomy, distributive laboratory paperwork, and handle telephone calls from clients, patients, physicians, pharmacies, and staff. Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and medicine charges, while preparing examination rooms and performing clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing forms. Work a per diem schedule at the Urgent Care Old Saybrook location.
