Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures for patients in an Urgent Care setting and may function as a Medical Assistant (rooming patients, obtaining vitals, reconciling medications, interviewing patients). Exercises professional judgment, operates radiography equipment and EMR documentation, and contributes to patient care through teamwork and adherence to health-system policies. Ideal candidates have formal radiography training (JRCERT) with ARRT certification/eligibility, CT license/eligibility in CT or state license, and strong communication and organizational skills; preferred candidates include 3–5 years of radiologic technology experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
- ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
- State of Connecticut License/Eligible
- Good judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to function independently
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
- Three to five years experience as Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
