Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Perform X-Rays following established safety protocols to produce quality radiographs while minimizing repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, maintain sterilized supplies, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy, manage laboratory paperwork, handle client and physician calls, collect payments, and prepare examination rooms. Perform clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and filing. Work per diem in the Urgent Care Old Saybrook department.
