Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Perform X-Rays following established safety protocols, producing quality radiographs while minimizing repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, maintain supplies and equipment, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy, manage laboratory paperwork, handle client and physician calls, and collect payments and co-pays. Prepare examination rooms, perform clerical duties, and complete other assigned tasks. Work a per diem schedule at Urgent Care Old Saybrook.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated guest relations skills
