Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Perform X-Rays following established safety protocols, produce quality radiographs with appropriate views, and minimize repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, maintain supplies and equipment including sterilization, and assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy and distribute laboratory paperwork, manage telephone communications from clients and staff, collect payments and insurance co-pays, and prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments. Handle various clerical duties such as photocopying forms, faxing, and filing charts. Work a per diem schedule at the Urgent Care Old Saybrook facility.
