Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, prepare patients for radiologic procedures, and perform X-Rays following established safety protocols to minimize repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, manage sterilization, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy, handle telephone communications, collect payments, and perform clerical duties including filing and faxing. Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments. Work per diem in the Urgent Care department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification and State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and guest relations skills
