Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-Rays following established safety protocols. Produce quality radiographs, minimize repeat studies, and apply splints and dressings while maintaining supplies and equipment. Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, perform phlebotomy and laboratory paperwork, and manage telephone communications from patients and staff. Collect payments and co-pays, prepare examination rooms, and handle clerical duties such as photocopying and filing. Work a per diem schedule in the Urgent Care Old Saybrook department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated guest relations skills
