Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Take patient histories and vital signs, prepare patients for radiologic procedures, and perform X-Rays following established safety protocols. Produce quality radiographs, apply splints and dressings, and assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries. Conduct phlebotomy, manage laboratory paperwork, and handle telephone calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and medicine charges while preparing examination rooms with necessary instruments. Perform various clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and filing forms. Work a per diem schedule in the Urgent Care Old Saybrook department.
