Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Perform X-Rays following established safety protocols to produce quality radiographs while minimizing repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, maintain supplies and equipment, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy, manage laboratory paperwork, and handle telephone communications from patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Collect payments, co-pays, and medicine charges, while preparing examination rooms and performing clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing. Work per diem at Middlesex Health's Urgent Care Old Saybrook, where you will utilize advanced medical knowledge and patient-first care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated guest relations skills
