Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Perform X-rays following established safety protocols to produce quality radiographs while minimizing repeat studies. Apply splints and dressings, maintain supplies and equipment, and assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries. Conduct phlebotomy, handle telephone inquiries, collect payments, and perform clerical duties including charting and filing. Work a per diem schedule in the Urgent Care department at Middlesex Health, where you will contribute to a Magnet-designated organization known for patient-first care and advanced medical technology.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated guest relations skills
