Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, prepare patients for radiologic procedures, and perform X-rays following established safety protocols. Produce quality radiographs, apply splints and dressings, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy, manage laboratory paperwork, and handle telephone calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Collect payments and co-pays, prepare examination rooms, and perform clerical duties including photocopying and filing. Work a per diem schedule at Middlesex Health's Urgent Care Old Saybrook facility, where you will utilize advanced medical knowledge and contribute to patient-first care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and guest relations skills
