Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Take patient histories and vital signs, prepare patients for radiologic procedures, and perform X-rays following established safety protocols. Produce quality radiographs, take appropriate views, and minimize repeat studies while applying splints, dressings, and maintaining sterilized supplies. Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, perform phlebotomy, and manage laboratory paperwork. Handle telephone inquiries from patients and providers, collect payments and insurance co-pays, and prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments. Complete various clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and filing patient charts. Work a per diem schedule at the Urgent Care Old Saybrook facility.
