Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures while performing X-Rays following established safety protocols. Produce quality radiographs, apply splints and dressings, and assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals. Conduct phlebotomy, manage laboratory paperwork, handle client and physician communications, and collect payments for co-pays and charges. Maintain supplies and equipment, prepare examination rooms, and perform clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and filing. Work a per diem schedule at the Urgent Care Old Saybrook location.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated guest relations skills
