Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary

Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-rays following established safety protocols. Produce quality radiographs, minimize repeat studies, and apply splints and dressings while maintaining supplies and equipment. Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, perform phlebotomy, and manage laboratory paperwork. Handle telephone communications from clients, physicians, and pharmacies, collect payments and co-pays, and prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments. Perform various clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and filing patient charts. Work a per diem schedule in our urgent care facility, where you will contribute to patient-first care within a Magnet designated organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
  • Eligible for ARRT certification
  • State of Connecticut Radiographers license
  • Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated guest relations skills
