Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Take patient histories and vital signs, then prepare patients for radiologic procedures including X-rays while minimizing repeat studies. Produce quality radiographs, apply splints and dressings, and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments including sterilization. Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals, perform phlebotomy and laboratory paperwork, and handle telephone calls from clients, patients, physicians, pharmacies, and staff. Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and medicine charges, while preparing examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments. Perform various clerical duties such as photocopying forms, reports, and patient information, faxing forms, and filing charts. Work a per diem schedule at Urgent Care Old Saybrook.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program
- Eligible for ARRT certification
- State of Connecticut Radiographers license
- Demonstrated competency in all diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated guest relations skills
