Job Summary
Review patient history and initiate radiographic images based on physician orders while prioritizing procedural patient education. Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications, monitoring patient condition and reporting changes as appropriate. Implement techniques to yield image clarity, ensuring quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices. Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment, modeling proficiency by precepting new staff. Respond to changes in patient condition and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This full-time night shift position offers a competitive hourly range of $28.38 to $39.74 with a shift differential, merit increases, and a career ladder providing salary growth.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
- State licensure if required by law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
