Job Summary
Review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, and prioritize procedural patient education to ensure cooperation. Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition, and report changes in status as appropriate. Implement techniques to yield image clarity, maintain quality control, and ensure equipment functionality based on established Radiologic Technologist best practices. Shifts include nights, evenings, and weekends with a differential included. The role offers a Diagnostic Career Ladder with 4% salary increases per level and a three-year incentive bonus. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
- State licensure if required by law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
- BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire
