Job Summary

Perform quality x-rays per physician's orders while informing and preparing patients for procedures. Maintain radiology files, prepare and stock work areas, and coordinate equipment maintenance. Supply patients with requested x-rays and assist provider teams in obtaining imaging from other facilities as needed. Adhere to radiation precautions and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Work independently at least 90% of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds and standing continuously throughout shifts. Full-time, part-time, weekend, and casual shifts available across Twin Cities Metro locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • ARRT Certification in radiology required within 60 days of employment
  • Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer)
  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines
  • Ability to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Prioritize workload effectively
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone and email interactions
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to be available for weekends
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations in the Twin Cities Metro area

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous radiology experience preferred
