Job Summary
Operate portable or computed radiography equipment to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation and drive company vehicles to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, jails, and patients' homes to perform x-ray exams as ordered. Perform EKGs and transmit results to cardiologists, obtain and scan exam paperwork and billing documents daily, and maintain radiology equipment and vehicles. Communicate with dispatch and management while interacting professionally with peers, staff, and clients. Train other technologists as needed and complete special projects assigned by the supervisor. Maintain ARRT certification and a valid driver's license in good standing. Newly certified or licensed technologists are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivated, dependable, and work independently with little to no direct supervision
- Flexible and adaptable
- Experience working in a changing and challenging work environment
- Experience working with geriatric patients
- Enjoy driving
- Maintain ARRT Certification and/or required State licenses, health requirements, operational requirements
- Valid driver's license in the applicable state
- Maintain Driver's license in good standing at all times
