Job Summary
Apply radiology intelligence to patients by relieving anxieties, explaining treatments, and answering questions. Utilize critical thinking skills to position patients with restricted mobility, minimizing radiation doses through ALARA techniques and protective shielding. Verify physician orders and ICD-10 codes, communicate closely with physicians for exact positioning, and maintain a clean imaging environment. Requires an Associates degree in Radiology, valid ARRT certification, and Florida licensure. Full-time position in East Central Florida with comprehensive benefits including paid time off and 401(k) profit sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Radiology from an accredited education program
- Maintain valid ARRT certification
- Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in medical/healthcare setting
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products, EPM and EHR software applications, preferably Athena
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Proof of auto insurance
