Job Summary
Competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. Execute safe and precise procedures while gaining patient cooperation through effective communication and attentive monitoring. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Prioritize assignments within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to meet deadlines in a team environment. Identify and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options. Full-time, 40-hour week from Monday to Friday. Pay range $66.40 to $92.96 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist
- evidence of application for CRT/DRT provided prior to start date
- CRT/DRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed) provided prior to start date
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies
- Capable of performing routine radiographic examinations
- basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and related information systems (Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and picture archive and communication system (PACS))
- Ensure the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI)
- Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
- Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options
Desired Qualifications
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate
