Job Summary
Perform all radiographic examinations according to established protocols, ensuring high accuracy in positioning and exposure technique while maintaining radiation safety practices. Prepare and administer contrast media, gather patient information, verify orders, and assess patients to develop action plans for procedures. Educate patients pre- and post-exam, produce images at the bedside, ER, and surgery, and assist physicians with intricate exams. Ensure examinations are completed and ready for interpretation, participate in department meetings, and maintain proficiency in equipment and information systems. Instruct radiologic technology students in positioning and technique critique.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification required within 3 months of hire
- Valid KBMIRT temporary license required prior to start date
- BLS required
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Must be able to analyze data, work with confidential information, manage resources, evaluate performance of others

- Must maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times

Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience as a general radiographer preferred but not required
