Job Summary
Performs standard x-ray examinations utilizing radiology equipment with proper technique and positioning per orders; positions patients to obtain diagnostic images; adheres to shielding protocols and safety standards; prepares exam rooms, maintains supplies, and manages patient history and vital signs. Conducts blood draws, administers injections and vaccines, and supports providers in procedures. Uses CR and DR systems, evaluates image properties (density, contrast, definition, magnification, distortion), and sends/stores images; new graduates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
