Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to each examination. Adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time while performing screening procedures and documenting exam information. Monitor patients during exams to ensure safety, report findings to physicians, and verify exams on PACS. Prepare examination rooms and equipment as needed. Requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, ARRT-R certification, state RT license, BLS certification, and fluoroscopy license. Full-time variable shift position with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
