Job Summary
Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams safely and accurately according to established protocols, while providing patient education and radiation safety checks. Coordinate procedures in the operating room by collaborating with radiologists, surgeons, and nurses, and serve as a clinical supervisor for imaging students. Maintain precise patient records in the RIS and PACS systems, assist with patient transport, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure the imaging environment remains clean and stocked. This Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm position requires one year of OR experience, an active NYS license, ARRT registration, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program
- 1+ years of radiologic technologist experience in an Operating Room
- Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License
- Active ARRT registration
- Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire)
- Monday - Friday 8am-430pm position availability
- No weekends or holidays availability
