Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist will perform routine diagnostic procedures including fluoroscopic and portable radiographs while maintaining a professional atmosphere for patients. Essential skills include effective interpersonal communication, patient transfer and positioning, immobilization as required, and adherence to safety standards. The role demands a capability for medium to heavy physical tasks, and candidates must possess current Oregon RT credentials and ARRT registration. This part-time position requires the ability to take 24-hour stand-by and involves interaction with patients under various physical and emotional states.
Required Qualifications
- Current Oregon RT License
- ARRT registration within 6 months of hire
- Current Oregon limited RT License for new graduates not yet completing Radiology Tech training
- Capable of all routine diagnostic procedures including Routine, Fluoroscopic, OR, Trauma, Portable radiographs or fluoroscopy
- Ability to lift and move patients 100 to 300 lbs
- Ability to work independently as well as with others
