Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in the Radiology/Imaging department to support diagnosis and treatment. Requires proficiency operating imaging equipment, ensures patient safety, and maintains high-quality imaging and accurate documentation. Strong communication with patients and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. PRN - Varies/Rotating schedule. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with completed clinical hours. Experience: no experience required. Licensure: state licensure may be required depending on the state of practice. Certification/Registration: ARRT registry or registry eligible, registry achieved within 6 months of hire. BLS within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent standing/walking.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- Experience: no experience required
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible; Achieved ARRT registry within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Preferred Skills: Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment; Strong attention to detail; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Physical Requirements: ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; reach, bend, kneel, twist, squat
