Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist responsible for maintaining a professional image and providing excellent customer relations to patients and staff. Must properly position patients and perform various radiographic examinations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists. Role includes patient care, equipment maintenance, and compliance with system policies. Continuous professional development through education is expected, along with assistance in data entry and departmental support tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to properly position patients and perform all radiographic examinations
- Must be familiar with all radiographic equipment and be able to operate it at any time
- Provides high quality, diagnostic images to the radiologists for interpretation
- Responsible for patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance
- Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services
- Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service
- Ability to assist with data entry into patient charts for medical exams and processing records to outside vendors as needed
- Will work closely with other office staff to manage flow and assist patients directly
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an approved AMA school of radiologic technology or ARRT Credential
- BLS certification
