Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician. Responsibilities include performing radiology procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations, assisting in maintaining equipment and supplies, documenting patient testing information, and supporting a clean and safe work environment. Duties also include completing other comparable tasks as directed by the Radiology Manager, with weekend hours required and shifts typically 7am–8pm. Requires an associate’s degree in radiologic technology or two years of related experience, a valid state Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT registration, and CPR/AED certification. Relevant skills include knowledge of PACS, MS Word/Excel, effective communication, and the ability to lift and position patients.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school
- Valid state Radiologic Technologist license
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
