Job Summary
Per diem Radiologic Technologist performs imaging examinations per physician orders using a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, accounting for patients' unique and age-related needs. Applies clinical knowledge to proper patient positioning, radiation dose calibration of technique, and patient care to produce high-quality images, while maintaining ALARA to minimize exposure for patients and operators. Position supports Providence Seaside Hospital culture and mission; new graduates may obtain OBMI temporary license with permanent licensure within 6 months.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire
