Radiologic Technologist (Per Diem) Jefferson Health Center City

Job Summary
Perform x-ray scans of patient internal anatomy to aid physician diagnosis while executing radiologic services in compliance with relevant laws. Position radiographic equipment to produce images with necessary detail, explain procedures to patients, and obtain complete examination histories. Provide patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging, ensuring staff and patient protection via prescribed radiation safety standards. Maintain x-ray equipment through scheduled cleaning and tests, update patient and study information for billing and RIS/PACS accuracy, and monitor local, state, and national regulations. Complete an 8-week Mon-Fri full-time training period upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program
- Current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R)
- BLS
- License as required by state
- Knowledge of RIS systems
- Knowledge of PAC's systems
