Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision, operating radiographic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting orthopedic/hand surgery imaging. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical hours, state licensure as applicable (Arkansas license may be required), and ARRT registry or registry-eligible status with attainment within the specified timeline. Proficiency in radiographic procedures, understanding of basic anatomy, and ability to manipulate x-ray equipment, prepare and evaluate radiographs, and assist with patient handling are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice; Radiologic Technologist License may be required in Arkansas
- ARRT registry or registry eligible; achieve registry within 6 months of hire or within 1 year in Arkansas
