Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist on the night shift (PRN) at Hospitality Health ER in Longview, TX. Responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic X-rays, positioning patients on the exam table, adjusting exposure factors, and applying radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, patients, and families; maintains professionalism; completes ER/Radiology skill check-off; performs laboratory testing and reporting as assigned by the Laboratory Director; collects and labels specimens, and ensures proper QC and instrument calibration. Adheres to Laboratory and Radiology procedures, safety policies, and CLIA inspections. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, TDH licensure, CPR certification, and ongoing continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Active CPR certification
- Current State licensure from TDH (Texas Department of Health)
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology
- Experience: One year radiologic/imaging experience; CT training/experience
- Maintains continuing education in radiology
- Licensed/registered as a Radiologic Technologist in good standing
