Job Summary
Performs diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures with emphasis on pediatric/young patient populations, operates modality-specific equipment, manages image processing and EMR entries, ensures safety and high-quality images, provides patient and family education, and collaborates with radiologists and multidisciplinary team to support safe patient care and department quality initiatives (including ACR accreditation). Promotes accurate billing, obtains informed consent, and participates in ongoing competencies and department education.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT credential in Radiography (R)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved educational program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
