Job Summary
Perform routine and specialized radiologic exams on patients of all ages while maintaining high standards of patient care and image quality with minimal supervision. Operate advanced radiographic equipment, apply sterile techniques when needed, and assist physicians as part of a collaborative care team. Adapt to various diagnostic areas and remain flexible with departmental needs to produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs. This 11a-11:30p shift occurs on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography
- Must be ARRT registered
- Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification
- BLS
- Minimum six months experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department
- Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable
- Must be able to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients
- Required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary
- Required to operate complex radiographic equipment
- Required to assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System
- Must be versatile in any given routine diagnostic area
- Must be able to function without constant supervision to produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs
