Job Summary
Provide imaging procedures for patients in an Urgent Care environment while performing Medical Assistant tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and interviewing for chief complaints. Operate all relevant equipment and computer systems with initiative and technical expertise, ensuring proper documentation in the EMR. Exercise professional judgment in accordance with health system policies to deliver high-quality patient care. Adhere to core values regarding compassion, confidentiality, and teamwork. Maintain proficiency in imaging modalities and utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
- ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
- State of Connecticut License/Eligible
- Good judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to function independently and make decisions
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
- Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB etc) required
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact positively with all levels of health care workers and guests required

- Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
