Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist in an Urgent Care setting performing imaging procedures with professional judgment, operating imaging equipment, and potentially serving as a Medical Assistant (rooming patients, obtaining vitals, reconciling medications, interviewing patients). Requires completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program, ARRT certification/eligibility, and CT license/eligibility. Per Diem schedule within Middlesex Health system with emphasis on patient care, teamwork, documentation in EMR, and adherence to health system policies and core values.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
- ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
- State of Connecticut License/Eligible
- Good judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to function independently and make decisions
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
