Job Summary
Provide patient care for imaging procedures in an Urgent Care setting while operating relevant equipment and computer systems. Function as a Medical Assistant to room patients, obtain vitals, reconcile medications, and interview patients to identify chief complaints. Ensure proper documentation in the EMR system and exercise professional judgment in accordance with health system policies. Maintain privacy and confidentiality while adhering to all core values and absolutes. Requires ARRT certification, Connecticut license, and three to five years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
- ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
- State of Connecticut License/Eligible
- Good judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to function independently and make decisions
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
- Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB etc) required
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact positively with all levels of health care workers and guests required

- Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
