Job Summary
Perform imaging procedures for patients in an Urgent Care environment to ensure high-quality patient care, functioning as a Medical Assistant to room patients, obtain vitals, reconcile medications, and interview patients for chief complaints. Operate all relevant imaging equipment and computer systems while ensuring proper documentation in the EMR. Exercise professional judgment in procedure performance, apply teamwork principles, and adhere to core values and absolutes regarding privacy and confidentiality. Requires JRCERT accredited Radiography program graduation, ARRT certification, Connecticut license, and three to five years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
- ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
- State of Connecticut License/Eligible
- Good judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to function independently and make decisions
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
- Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB etc) required
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact positively with all levels of health care workers and guests required
