Job Summary
Conduct imaging procedures for patients in the Urgent Care environment while performing Medical Assistant tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and interviewing for chief complaints. Operate all relevant imaging equipment and computer systems with professional judgment, ensuring proper documentation in the EMR. Adhere to health system policies, protocols, and standards while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality. Work a 30-hour week in a days shift, applying teamwork principles and technical expertise to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
- ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
- State of Connecticut License/Eligible
- Good judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to function independently and make decisions
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
- Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB etc) required
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact positively with all levels of health care workers and guests required

- Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
