Job Summary

Provide patient care essential to imaging procedures in an Urgent Care environment, operating all relevant equipment and computer systems with professional judgment. Function as a Medical Assistant to room patients, obtain vitals, reconcile medications, and interview patients to identify chief complaints while ensuring proper documentation in the EMR system. Exercise initiative and technical expertise to perform a wide-range of imaging procedures, adhering to health system policies, protocols, and standards. Maintain privacy and confidentiality while applying teamwork principles to all aspects of patient service. Requires ARRT certification, Connecticut license, and 3-5 years of experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
  • ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
  • State of Connecticut License/Eligible
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to function independently and make decisions
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously required
  • Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB etc) required
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated competency in imaging modalities
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact positively with all levels of health care workers and guests required
