Radiologic Technologist

Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body areas per physician specifications and protocols. Provide services for patients of all ages by acquiring and evaluating images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification and labeling. Maintain a clean, safe work environment, manage supplies, and perform quality control activities on equipment. Communicate with patients to obtain medical history, explain procedures, and address physical and psychological needs. Prioritize patient flow, coordinate care with the team, document activities in electronic health records, and distribute final images to the PACS system. Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and student or employee training. Adhere to radiation safety policies, ARRT standards, and federal/state accreditation requirements.
