Radiologic Technologist

Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body areas according to physician specifications and protocols. Utilize radiology knowledge to provide services for patients of all ages while adhering to radiation safety and organizational policies, ensuring proper patient identification and image labeling. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by cleaning patient rooms, managing supplies, and performing quality control activities on equipment. Communicate effectively with patients to obtain medical history, explain procedures, and address their physical and psychological needs. Prioritize patient flow, coordinate care with the team, document activities in electronic health records, and distribute final images to the PACS system. Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives, student and employee training, and educational activities. Schedule: 1pm-5pm four days a week.
