Job Summary
Provide radiographic images and position fluoroscopic equipment while minimizing radiation exposure and ensuring patient comfort. Select and prepare contrast media for examinations, process images to PACS, and manage x-ray requests. Identify correct body parts on all images and assist in instructing student technologists by demonstrating technical skills. Requires ARRT certification, NJ radiology license, and BLS. Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology
- NJ radiology license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience
